LOL the unholy marriage

Of venetian snares and the more insanely chirpy aphex. This track puts logon rock witch by aphex and anything on the making orange things album by venetian snares and speedranch. Its great, and short and snappy. Should be used in a baby eating flash, if anyone dares make one.

Good

I find the open high hat to be lacking character, it sounds a little too polished and inhuman at the start, if you get what i mean. Good track tho, i like the transitions, and its a smooth track. I apologise for the stupid review on your latest, the reason is in the audio forum (shameless plug to get people interested in the forum)
Serious tho, its a nice club grade track. And yes i am schiz, i've not had anything herbal for nearly a week. :S

Heh i was going to 0 you when i heard the start

I HATE THAT F**KING BIRD. But after that, it soon picked up :) I'm waiting to hear the bird again, if i do, theres gonna be trouble. Hmmm, sounds both chirpy and slightly melancholy. Nostalgic i'd say, not sure why tho :)
I've not heard much dark sounding trance like this on NG, so i like this one especially, and the subtle effects are far nicer than the in your face trance i've heard on here. Nice job :)

Emotional

I never knew the guy, only picked up bits of the story from these reviews, but this track shows your pain. It brings a tear to a half-metallers eye to know that he was cared for and liked so much, and didnt even know it. Well done on this work, its melancholy, angry, and then the final part sounds somehow hopeful and peaceful. Its a slowly raging torrent of emotion, and whilst i dont normally like things that make me sad, this is brilliant.

His life was by no means a easy one, it is unfortunate it had to end the way it did.
Hopefully he's in a better place at the moment.
Upon finding out about his death, I made a complete and utter ass out of myself on the forums, which to this day still regret.
Anyhow, really glad you liked this song. One of my favorites, so it is of importance to hear a good review for it.

Good, too bassy for my liking in places though.

It would be a good backing track for a rap i think, but the sound is too bassy in places near the start, so the twinkly bits are a little too hard to hear in my opinion. Its probably the most interesting hip hop i've heard, but i'm no bigtime hip hop fan :)

This is one of my least like creations, it really isn't a good hip-hop beat at all. To defend myself against this, I will say I didn't listen to much hip-hop at the time either, but still, not to my liking.

I like it, but the central loop is slightly irritating, i know its to contrast the twinkly shifts, but if you made this any longer you would have to have some key changes in it, as it is it just holds out. The drums are excellent i find though, so thats a consolation :)

Stop being so creative, you make me jealous

^ hehehehe. This is like techno crossed with mellow digital hardcore, if such a thing exists. The only reason i give you an 8 is cos i dont like standard hand clap sounds. If you duplicated the claps and changed the pitch to sound more like a group of people, i'd be more impressed. Good work anyway, its pretty catchy, and the bass drum is "correct" as much as its possible to judge anyone else's taste.
