Its very very fucking energetic, and raw sounding. A little too raw, i like my goth metal a bit more polished (Cof on Cruelty and the beast for example) but since you're not an actual pro, its very good, sheer evil. Killing babies music :)
Like I said, this is raw black metal, like something Darkthrone or Old Mayhem would have done. That would explain the horrible production and the minimalist tunes. I can do stuff like COF did on CatB but I just choose not to.

Nice funky rythms on the drums, and some nice interesting sounds that are a cross between a roll and a synth, glitchy but fast. You a fan of aphex by any chance?

I actually downloaded this one, sounds similar to a track i was working on, and i got this for tips. Its made my track now redundant, but this is an excellent track to listen to. I only mark clarity down cos its not quite right, maybe its cos its a lower bitrate than you'd like, or maybe cos my speakers are destroyed from my attempts at song writing or perhaps i just need a better system, but i still adore this track. Please send me the highest quality version you can, i'm tryin to put together a set list to take to uni with me, and this has to go on it. Get my email off weeksy or something :)

Thanks for the permission to remix this, i'll probably not do anything too far out with this, i'll just add some dirty drums where i feel the holes in the drums are, and perhaps loop my favourite hooks, either that or give it to my mate who's heads still good at dual and triple remixes to play with and see what he makes of it.
Just so you know, and i dont know why, but i dislike standardised, homogenized clap sounds, and i know you've added some layering and effects to them, but i just dont like it :S the melody is fucking beautiful though :)
Nice, but the piano in places....
This is nice, but the piano does sound just bad in places. If you want a more aphex'y affect pick some random notes to surrund them to produce a chord/discord and equalise to produce the sound you want. The rest is brilliant, production is just swish.
In some places the discord is nice, but in others it just doesnt fit a normal melody structure, but if new wave mash up niceness is what you seek you've done well, but if you want to make it normal nice sounding the piano is off.
I know bugger all about musical theory, but if you send me the piano riff and the backing separately i'll point out which bits i dont like. I only really notice it at the start, so maybe you changed it later in the track? Maybe i just lost attention, loads to do today :S

Found this one to be a bit mad, and disjointed, there was no pleasant moment of saturation to me, it all sounded a bit cold somehow. Oh well, your later works are better anyway, so thats something.

I smell a jean michel jarre influence which is good, but the drums in places i find awful. Like mr coffee said, forced, hollow, lacking somehow both in punch and blend. Sort it out mate :)

The intro is very much not jazz, its a bit nasty, but i like it. Then the flow is nice with the juxtaposition of brash snares. I like that bassline :)
I find the overall track, nice and slightly mediocre, i was about to say til the beat kicked in again. If i was to make this track, i'd make it into some fucked up aphex style madness, but thats just my taste. Its diverse jazz, i like, make more like this, put on cd and i'll probably buy it.

Definitely shows promise, its what i call a proto track, from here you can take it in any direction. It was soothing to listen to after annihilating my brain playing doom3. I give originality an 8 cos i'm knackered and jealous of your superior skills. Diversity a 9 as i never give anyone a ten for that unless its truly aphex/squarepusher hardcore insanity. Clarity an 8 as i found the contrast between the loud drums and quiet synth a bit much, but 10 for effort, and overall 9 as its good, but you need to finish it.
