is that live guitar playing, samples, synth? its so high quality that i just cant tell.

The guitary bits are a combination of samples and syntheses. It's all being processed and mashed in Reaktor.

I personally find the sharp open hat sound a bit irritating. A LOT irritating on repeat.

Try develop it as more of a classical piece then stick some offbeat squares and funky drums in

I like this, its interesting, and i think you could take it further, but then, its your glitch, not mine. The intro is lovely, the distorted drums are a little too aggressive for me, but then i've not listened to glitch for a while, so maybe i'm just not used to it anymore.

Makes me think of the dead letter office, mind you there's been about 13 bands called that.

Interesting piece, only thing i can recommend is save save save for good recording equipment and studio time.

Not a bad piece of work

The lead/bass type sound is far too overpowering in places tho. imo, maybe too much polyphony? i dunno :S

The scratch/glitch in the beat is repeated often enough to be irritating, some of the sub notes are overpowering and dont suit the mood of the track. Good piece creativity wise, dont worry about that kid, his parents just never slapped him about enough when he was younger. I'd call this hmm, whatever style of music portishead are.

good work, tho i think some eq and volume dynamics on the bass end are your friend in this case.
